Entry of migrants. Process pursuant to inmigration law

DESCRIPTION
The Canary Islands route is currently one of the most dangerous migratory itineraries on the planet due to the long journey and the harsh conditions that characterise the voyage that migrants must make. Despite this, due to the archipelago’s geographic and strategic position, and to the lack of policies that enable the provision of safe and legal transit routes between the African and European continents, this is still the route that thousands of migrants choose to reach Europe. Many of them die along the way, but what happens when a boat is intercepted? What happens to the migrants who reach the Canary Islands? Do the same protocols apply to women and children? How is this key moment in the migration process managed?
